I strongly disagree with op and op's husband. generalization should not based on few cases. there are plenty of couples on the face of earth and they are doing best.

My aunt once told me that a girl should always marry a guy who is less attractive than them, because that will stop him from cheating. And she also said that a girl doesnt want lots of other girls always paying attention to her husband, cause guys are "weak". But I think my husband and I are equally attractive.

girl should be less attractive because girl are more stupid ( not all girls) and you know if the girl is beautiful then you should be more conscious. so irl should be less beautiful :)

My husband was saying that a female is more likely to cheat if she's attractive, thereby, you ought marry a less attractive counterpart.
Whereas *a male is less likely to cheat even if he is attractive cos females are "stupid" *(stupid in the sense of, gullible for "love")
And I think most men have a difficult time keeping it in their pants regardless of being "attractive" Plus I think men are more easily lured.

Who the f cares how more or less attractive they are, they should understand and trust each other regardless of looks...:S
