i really can't tell which i would side with, but i am leaning towards obama. Furthermore, the GOP base is not even warming up to mccain (of course, i could be wrong) and even though it's still early in the game, this just proves to show how we see our candidates to-date. i know i will get burned for this, but i think mccain is a warmonger. i get the impression that he doesn't care to what happens to our troops in the middle east and the other parts of the world. Can’t we just all get along? i think it is time for a purification; i think it is time for a change; i think it is time for obama time. Now that the candidates are set for the US Presidential Election, Barack Obama and John McCain are beginning to set the tone for their campaign.
well i guess that the election is getting warmer now as the presidential candidates have their strongest VP candidates. this early i saw in pollclash that Joe Biden has now been officially introduced as Barack Obama's Vice Presidential selection.well you can see the video in pollcalsh.
Re: Debate: Barack Obama vs. John McCain
Ya when Obama talked about targeting Pakistan, McCain said 'You can't say that ALOUD...' meaning its ok to think it and to plot it but lets not say it. definitely a hypocrite.
Re: Debate: Barack Obama vs. John McCain
Awesome contribution everyone. Thank you.
Now the 2nd Presidential debate is on as of right now. It's different than the previous format. Today's debate is Townhall style, in that, voters are selected to ask questions along with a moderator.
Please watch it, and share what you thought of both candidates.
Thanks as always.
Re: Debate: Barack Obama vs. John McCain
McCain is losing
Re: Debate: Barack Obama vs. John McCain
Obama was on the offensive today and dominated throughout, and Mccain was defensive. Mccain was a little more comfy with foriegn policy but the economic toll has affected his campaign considerably.

McSame looks like a robot
Re: Debate: Barack Obama vs. John McCain
^ did u see how he was walking around, that looks awkward though pro-republicans will say hes used to town hall like debates. Too bad we cant say the same for his answers. He tried the same approach on Obama as last time saying he doesnt understand stuff, but Obama (obviously prepared for this) responding by saying yes he doesnt understand why a country which had nothing to do with 9/11 was invaded.
people are getting more and more comfortable with Obama. Hes confident and focused under pressure.
Re: Debate: Barack Obama vs. John McCain
yeah he walked like C3PO
If you had listen to what he said today then you wouldn’t bring this video back. He clearly said he is not invading pak, he said he will give non millitary support to gain the confidence of the people and force the government to crack down the terrorist..
Alright everybody. The debate is taking place tonight, or has already taken place by now. I totally missed it. So, i request those of you who watched it or listened to it, to please discuss it here.
Discuss pros and cons of each candidate based on the debate, and the topics and questions that were asked. Who fared better than the other candidate in your opinion and why, and so on.
Thanks for participating. :)
Let the dog and pony show begin!

Re: Debate: Barack Obama vs. John McCain
Obama fared much much better in this debate than the last. He was constantly striking down McCain, and McCain was found on the recovery. Obama's healthcare plan makes more sense than that of McCain. I would have liked McCain to clarify or shed light on the accusation of Obama, where he says McCain is withholding information about the actual cost of healthcare that Americans would be stuck with even after the 5k giveaway.
My opinion has not changed from debate, and i remain a democrat.
