Re: Death of Quaid e Azam
“The division of subcontinent is the greater, the greatest blunder in the history of mankind” Hazart Pir-0-Murshid Altaf Hussain of Landan Sharif.
After seeing what happened to Pakistan founded by Quaid-e-Azam, the words of Pir of Lanadan Sharif are not untrue. Instead of making himself as Governor General or his majesty, the king of Pakistan, he should have worked on democracy the day one Pakistan came into existence. Without such solid groundwork, soon Pakistan was taken over by the adventurers.
Bhutto zinda hay to iski waja hay.
He gave courage to poor people to fight for their rights
Brought 98000 POW’s from India (though I consider it was a huge blunder by him)
Gave Pakistan atom bomb
Opened millions of jobs in Pakistan and in the middle east
Started a number of social programs for average Pakistanis
The list goes on.
Don’t you need functioning govt institutions and a constitution for that? Pakistan / India didn’t win against the brits in a war so they remained dominions until the declaration of their constitutional republican status. India had a governor general as well if you have forgotten.
