Musharraf cannot be touched for contravening our Constitution because he has negotiated a deal, guaranteed by local (khakis?), regional (Arabs?) and international (US/UK?) actors, that offers him amnesty and the right to play golf!

Journalist seems to be unaware of Pakistan's history. The nation is ruled by khakis 2/3 of the time since 1947. Khakis has always called the shots. Khaki means subservient of Uncle Sam and SA who are the biggest money givers to khakis. Punjabis support khakis they damn care whether it is military or democracy in either case they are the beneficiaries and rest are the losers.
When Bhutto was dethroned in 1977 by a deicator, he thought Punjabis would rush to jail and get him freed. How foolish was he knowing that Punajbis would never go against khakis which comprised of 95% of Punjabis, military for them was just like a welfare department, the biggest employer of Punjabis.
After separation of East Pakistan, this has become default and unfortunate reality. Democracy in Pakistan will never come even closer to that of India due to the above fact. Even the present hotch potch democracy is controlled by khakis, Uncle Sam and SA. This will be continued for ever or till the country survives, whether you like it or not.
