dc guppie here too. there is nothing in the world like a karahi chicken from ravi kabob or for any panjabi cook for that matter. we panjabi men might not know a lot of things but we can make one mean karahi.

ravi is a good place for a first date for a hot babe. that tight crowded place with with kids screaming, desi uncles and aunties staring you down is a good time to test her out. if the girl complains about the environment or about the karahi… DUMP HER right away. why you ask.. cuz she definitely cant appreciate good food so probably wont appreciate you and if she complains about the ridiculous loud environment with ppl staring you down she cant adjust in a paki family.

@ punjabi men… funny! A tip for the ladies… always watch how he treats the waitress, it shows how he might be a few months/years down the line..

capitol, i live in the suburbs too but work in DC. but i went to school down south. i wish i had gone to George Mason. I recently went to a graduation ceremony. Half the population graduating was desi. i saw so many brown ppl... heck i was scared. and i am brown.

Yes, if you don’t believe me, you can go and see for yourself during Muharram. Chutney is owned by Shias. So is Abshar.

Just don’t bring any sunni mullahs with you, they have a tendency to blow up at Shia gatherings.

Whoever said that they wish they attended George Mason, be lucky that you didn't.. My friends go there and they wish they rather had gone to a local community college, its full of DESI ppl.. I don't think thats such a great thing.. u know soo much Drama comes along with a most of them...

man...DC area just is'nt the right place for good desi/halaal food. All we have are tonnes of kabab places for cabbies. The only good places we have are Ravi Kabab and Chutney.

You want good food...drive up to NY :D
