in hinduism shiv will destroy the world after he wakes up from his meditation. he will open his third eye which is located on his forehead and destroy everything for this cycle.
Ofcourse the life cycle starts again and shiv goes back to meditation untill new cycle is over..
the story is kinda similar, thats amazing... except shiv is our primary god..
in hinduism destroyer is a god too....
