Re: Da Best Way…?
Make sure your hands are SOFT. Moisturise them before. Make sure your nails are cut with no chipped ends. If so, file them to make them smooth. Most of massaging is done through the fingertips.
If you’re doing a head/neck massage its best you start from the shoulders first as this is the least sensitive area and should help to relax the shoulder joints and arms in general. You need to go in gentle so the best way is to use oil. Start off by gently pressing the fingertips over the skin and move in small circles. Do this for 2-3 minutes perhaps, maybe longer, depends on the individual. Slowly increase the diameter and firmness of these circles and move towards the neck. From here you’re almost certain to hear your partners’ responses
When you do, you know its working. You’ll next need to gently grab the fleshy area of the neck, four fingers on one side, the thumb on the other and press with the thumb, using the fingers as an anchor. Increase pressure and keep doing this as you work your way around the area back and forth. Tilt her head slightly forward and place 4 fingers on either side of the base of the neck and press gently in a circular motion upwards towards the edge of the skull. Be careful not to pull her hair. You’ll know its working from her reaction ![]()
In all, the secret to massaging is to observe your partners response and go by that.
Everyone has their own technique, thats mine ![]()
