92 WC Semi Final didn't use D/L method. And the reason they went from 22 runs in 7 balls to 21 runs in 1 ball wasn't because they protested, but because they lost about an over's worth of playing time due to rain, and the prevailing method for such calculations in Australia at the time determined 21 runs in 1 ball.
