President Musharraf believes in the independence of the judiciary and rule of law, and will accept the Supreme Court ruling with good grace. Others may not.

*Aitzaz Ahsan submitted that President Musharraf had secured constitutional and legal cover to continue with the two offices till November 15, but he was not qualified to run for another term as president.
Justice Nawaz Abbasi remarked that Ahsan was made a friend of the court to remove difficulties, not to create them. *

I think that one could have read this 100 times and written this 500 times in 1999 too, but still term started. This has happened many hundred times before too :)
Actually you do not realise that to get in first time is difficult but to leave is harder. If politicians want military to leave, they have to hope for divine intervention ... not divine intervention on forum but in real life :)
But then, if military goes without divine intervention, one can be assured than that it was because military did not bothered.
Else, in many countries military is ruling the country without even little support from masses, whereas in Pakistan, present military rule has huge public support, certainly much more than support that Ayub Khan, Yahya Khan or Zia-ul-Batil had at any time during their rules. Probably much more support than NS or BB ever had during their rules, and most likely even support what Z A Bhutto ever had during his rule (when agitation against Bhutto started in 1977, law and order situation became so bad that most major cities of Pakistan was given to military to control under martial law by Bhutto, shows empty support behind Z A Bhutto).
As for military backed rule in other part of the world, Musharraf has more support than most military dictators anywhere in the world ever had (President Musharraf at present is most popular leader in Pakistan, much more popular than any present political figures, probably more popular than any political leader of the past, except M A Jinnah). That is the reason that when President Musharraf appeals to public to vote parties behind him, all opposition parties without any exception gets upset. If President Musharraf was an unpopular figure, parties in opposition would have loved that unpopular President appealing to vote parties behind him.
I do not mean to say that President Musharraf is ruling against the will of the majority, still, if you want to know where people in power are ruling due to military and against the will of the people, than you will find many places. For instance, Israel, Russia in Chechnya and many other places, most Arab Muslim countries (that includes Saudi Arabia and in big way), India (in Kashmir, Assam and many other places), China in Tibet and many other places, Korea, Burma, Cuba, many south American countries, many Balkan countries, many African countries, Sri-Lanka in Tamil area, Philippine in some areas, and many others.
So, be assured that if military (President Musharraf gives up his power), it would not be due to any pressure but would be a gesture. Though I do not feel that time for giving up power is near. :).

It is confussion that why we people do again and again the same mistake. We didn't ever get lesson from you previous mistakes.
Infact Common Citizen didnt get involve in all these issues still now.

Because Musharaf Govt. create so many other problems for the citizen of pakistan so that they either cant give time and never think about it. The problems are, Un-Employment, Daring (Mehngayi), Expenses calculation and Free Media (Movies, Songs, and others).
that is the reason Musharaf is successfull, if the common citizen get awaked then Musharaf will be hangon on streets. Dont ever think the Citizens weak.
