wait till you start using it urself, the first thing after going to any english speaking country is to learn the Gaaliyan. they are more useful then proper grammar.

i know ppl say that about languages period! but of all the languages i have learnt...honestly not once did i pick up cuss words first! so i dont know why ppl say we learn cuss words first...actually u know i know some spanish cuss words even though i cant speak spanish but thats only b/c what if someone calls u that and u say "thank you"! u know sou just gotta know!

as for suggestions..well ignore if possible..if not... be like "dude whats up with all the "f' this and that" could u maybe turn it down a notch! cause it maybe rubbing off ...and i cant afford to be using such lingo...not tolerated at my home"

I agree with Mehnaz and Rukhsarbibi. The use of such language is repulsive and anyone that believes they are making a greater impact by including these words in their day to day language are only fooling themselves.

when i first started at my new workplace about 5 months ago, i thought it was highly unusual too.. and now i dont even notice it one bit! the team (or the team members) i worked with on a daily basis in the beginning used the ‘F’ word religiously… sometimes i even heard myself saying it in my head… thats when i got scared!!!

ive moved back into my team and they’re a bit more conscience of “dirty” words and apologise to me and bubz when a word is said… i like it this way

it’s also about the company you keep, I’ve noticed that I swear a whole lot less (if at all) when I’m in the company of people that I respect. I guess that means your office mate doesn’t repect you

This is somewhat true. I dont swear at all when im around adults much much older than me or at work where I get paid not to swear in front of children. Other than that, its effing and blinding all the way!

I think when people swear, it reflects a lot of their character. you can tell a lot about someone by the way they speak.

i never ever swear in my life ALHAMDULILAH and i have been living in USA since last 7 years, so if u have respect for others and fear of ALLAH u can really control ur self

In oil patch its normal lingo, everybody from top to bottom uses it, if something is bad it's effed if something is good it's effing good. But I never do that in front of ladies, Pakistani/Indian people elders than me and children.
