I believe men should cry more often rather than hold it all in. Come muharaam, sahadat or dua kumail evenings, its pretty common sight. Even if the tears are over personal issues, more than the lecture, its highly recommended for the reason being its therapeutic all around.

aahmed: But that's crying because of another issue. This issue has to do with me scolding a 14 year old boy, and him bursting into tears.

He cried again today. I don't know what to do with him.

I made one of my male students cry this year.
He is one of the cockiest 11th graders around. I couldn't believe it. He was so frustrated with his paper that he nearly had a breakdown.
I was really shocked.

1) Allah swt
2) parents' sickness and death
3) SEVERE physical pain
