Crushes

Re: Crushes

crushes are normal. totally normal :p irrespective of age and marital status in my opinion.

how you control it is what matters.

  1. the biggest NO would be to compare them with your spouse coz that's where things might go underhill.
  2. our professor of psychiatry once told us this way to get rid of any bad habit. i am sure mostly people would know it. Tie a rubber band on your wrist. Whenever you even think about your crush, pull it once so that it snaps you back to your reality.
  3. Make a conscious effort to remember about the best times you have shared with your husband.
  4. avoid the crush mostly. distract yourself
  5. imagine your little kid telling your dad or even your MIL 'grandma you know mommy has the hots for her boss, or xyz' :p

and I wouldnt be too comfortable if someone else has a crush on my hubby. am possessive by nature :D

whn u figure out the solution to that … u lemme kno as well

don't know just felt like saying it. :D

Re: Crushes

intense feelings cant just come from having a lil "crush"

their must b something from both sides...and that is awkward when ur married i wud think.

Re: Crushes

I have a crush on akshay kumar, yummmm.... starts dreaming

Re: Crushes

i have a crush on preity zinta lol :D seems so funny na

Re: Crushes

celebrity crushes are totally harmless for there is remotely any chance of having two sided thingie ;)

Re: Crushes

i use to have a crush on preity zinta ... don't really find her that cute anymore

Re: Crushes

I'm aware of a women who has a crush on my husband-but it doesn't bother me as I know the feelings are not returned (that's when the trouble starts).

The best way to deal with them is to act normal and not act on the feelings.

^ you're very patient, I must say.

Re: Crushes

The only time there is a problem is if the feelings are reciprocated (as Princess1983 mentioned)

However, crushes when you're married is wrong in my opinion...shouldn't you only fancy your husband? I totally get fancying some celeb who will never in a million years notice you (ohh jonny depp how I miss thee <3) but if this crush is as real as it gets and he/she knows you too...that will only make your feelings stronger, right?

Re: Crushes

crush 'em.

thats called negative reinforcement ... very power ... works very well in lab rats

^ I don’t believe in this stuff, I tried the stress ball and it never works for me :vivo:

Re: Crushes

Either way( someone having a crush on me or having one of my spouse) i will murder him/her.If someone has a crush, keep it to urself.Nobody want to know what someone feels like.

when i get crushes ,they go away in 2-3 days so i wont be bothered much.

Re: Crushes

I have crushes on girls (only good looking ones :D) almost everyday...........so far, the longest one has lasted for.errr, no more than 1 hour :p, most of the crushes are like for 10-15 mins..... i just move on and pay attention to other stuff :@:

Re: Crushes

i have had many many many crushes, too many to count.
but damn HFCS, they use that as a sweetner now so I gave up, plus aspertame aint my style so I dont go for the diet crush either.

thats exactly what i'm talking about. having a crush on someone, knowing it wont go anywhere, the person doesnt need to know... so u take those vibes and put them to a positive use.
