Cricket World Cup 2003---> Pool A

Thoda tha lekin chalega… We are not that “patriotic” anyway.
:rotfl: :rotfl:

We will never try to proof Deep Dasgupta is better than Adam Gilchrist. lol

Well its confirmed, Australia wil play in Zaimbabwe provided no further detoropration in secutiry. And England might do that as well. coz thier final appeal has been turned down. Thast good for the group teams.

very good analysis. one point I am not in full agreement with you is that of Indian bowling. I think it lacks any edge and is at best only a "medium" quality one. Yes, Harbhajan can wreak havoc but that comes too far and between. I don't know why we cannot get a few bowlers of the class of McGrath, Shoaib etc.

Pakistan has never defeated India

Pakistan has never ever defeated India
......... In World Cup

Losing three times in succession in 1992, 1996 and 1999.

What do you think can we make a change this time?

wowwwwwwwww gr8 analysis m8
the latest that ive heard on England is that they will play in Zimbabwe, it'll cost them millions if they dont :(

No Bevan against Pak

Australia's Michael Bevan has ruled himself out of the defending champions' World Cup opener against Pakistan at The Wanderers.

The left-hander, who is recovering from a torn groin muscle suffered during the recent VB Series against
England and Sri Lanka, took part in Australia's practice session at the venue on Sunday.

But afterwards said he did not believe he was ready to return to action for the defending champions' opening match of Pool A.

"I'm going OK but I think I'm going to be pipped for this match," he said. "It's just come a few days early.

"I'm about 80 per cent right and I really needed to be 100 per cent right today."

Without Bevan, and with fellow batsman Darren Lehmann serving the last match of his five-game ban, Jimmy Maher appears to be guaranteed to start on Tuesday.

Best chance for Pakistan to Thrash them and get a great start like West Indies.

I hope Pakistani haters don't find any excuses after Pakistan's beats Australia that Bevan wasn't playing.
He maybe a very good batsman but against Pakistan he has little to proof. The main targets are Gilchrist, Hayden, Ponting, if Pakistan can get them out earlier on, they have a very good chance of keeping the Aussie total low.
Since Anwar is injured, it is very likely that Taufeeq Umar will open along with Elahi.

^

Despite of injury, Saeed will play. He made that comment two days ago. :)

Could Australia vs Pakistan once again be a match to remember? YES.

I am sure Pakistan will win this game. Ponting, will look to the sky's for Steve Waugh. Unfortunately, the good duo of Bevan and Waugh will not be played, also Lehmann is not going to play either. Who's taking Bevan's and Lehmann's spot (critical two for Australia lower order)?

Namibia Plays Zimbabwe for the fist match of Pool A.

I am not surprised at the fact that Zimbabwe scored 340 against Namibia but I am shocked at Namibia's decison to field first after winning the toss. Are they nuts?.

Zimbabwe won by 86 runs under D/L method.
