I will also order the package from dish network, I think its 300 dollars, but a friend suggested that I should order only Pakistan. Anyway if I can get the proper equipment I will also broadcast matches but the timing is very bad.
Day Night matches will start 6 AM Central time, only 2 hours before I go to college.

First of all welcome back Umair.. Jaan Lewaa where did you get the info about how much it is per match. I called dish network and they said for the time being they have not decided how much to charge. They were also thinking about some thing like a follow your team package. You pick a team and they show you all of the matches of that specific team and the two semi finals and the final for about $180.00. In that case I think I'll order that package.. better then $300.
If you have any other information about rates please post it too :)

Interesting thought. Pakistan has been making it past first stage since 1979. I have full confidence that it will make it to uUper Sixes this time as well. But if it doesn't, I would love to see a Australia and South Africa Final. I would still have interest in the matches and probably I would be watching them a lot more relaxed since Pakistan ki tension nahee hogi.
How the Cricket World Cup 2003 works
Step-by-step guide to how the 2003 World Cup works: The Tournament: The tournament will run for 44 days from the Opening Ceremony in Cape Town on Saturday, February 8, to the final in Johannesburg on Sunday, March 23. There will be a total of 54 matches - a record for the World Cup. All games will be day games, except in Cape Town and Durban where all games (five at each venue) will be day-night games, the only two centres where day-night games are scheduled. The 14 teams are divided into two pools which are decided on a round-robin basis. There will be 42 of these matches played over a period of 24 days. The top three teams from each pool will proceed to the next stage, the Super Six, carrying with them the points scored in matches against the other qualifying teams in their pool. The Super Six will determine the four teams that will contest the semi-finals - a day game in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday, March 18, and a day-night game in Durban on Thursday, March 20. Games in South Africa will be staged in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Centurion, Bloemfontein, Paarl, Potchefstroom, East London, Benoni, Kimberley and Pietermaritzburg. Games in Zimbabwe will be staged at Harare and Bulawayo, three games each.
The two games in Kenya will be staged at Nairobi.
The Points:
Win 4 points; Tie or no result 2 points; Loss 0 points
Group Matches: In the event of teams finishing on equal points in either Group, the right to play in the Super Six stage will be decided in the following order of priority:
The most wins in the Group Matches: When two teams have both equal points and equal wins, the team which was the winner of the match played between them will be placed in the higher position.
When more than two teams have equal points and equal wins, the team which was the winner of most number of matches played between those teams will be placed in the higher position. If still equal, the team with the higher net run rate in the Group matches will be placed in the higher position.
If still equal, the team with the higher number of wickets taken per balls bowled in the matches in which results were achieved will be placed in the higher position. In the unlikely event that teams cannot be separated by the above this will be done by drawing lots.
Super Six Matches: The six teams that qualify for the Super Six phase carry forward the points that they have gained in the group matches as follows:
Win v other qualifiers - 4 points each (Tie or no result - 2 points each); Win v non-qualifiers - 1 point each (Tie or no result - half point each).
The points carried forward by each team are added to those they gain in the Super Six matches, to form the Super Six league table.
In the event of teams finishing on equal points at the end of the Super Six stage, the right to play in the Semi-final will be decided in the following order of priority:
The most wins in all of the matches throughout the competition against the other Super Six qualifiers. When two teams have both equal points and equal wins, the team which was the winner of the matches played between them (in either the Group or Super Six matches) will be placed in the higher position.
When more than two teams have equal points and equal wins, the team which was the winner of the most number of matches played between those teams (in both the Group and Super Six matches) will be placed in the higher position.
If still equal, the team with the higher net run rate in all matches played against the other Super Six qualifiers (in both the Group and Super Six matches) will be placed in the higher position.
If still equal, the team with the higher number of wickets taken per balls bowled in all of the matches throughout the competition against the other Super Six qualifiers in which results were achieved, will be placed in the higher position.
In the highly unlikely event that teams cannot be separated by the above this will be done by drawing lots.
Semi-Final: If a semi-final is tied or there is a no result, the team that finished higher at the end of the Super Six phase shall proceed to the final.
Final: In the event of a tied Final or if there is no result in the three days allocated, the World Cup and prize money will be shared by the finalists.
intersting, tey changed the super sixes format a little bit to make it more competitive.
Does anyone know what time is the ceremony, NOT the matchs timing the ceremony time. Thank you in advance.
I have a feeling that the three teams from pool A that make to the Super Sixes stage will all make it to the semi-finals as well. The only team from pool B to semis would be South Africa.
The other pool B teams West Indies, Sri Lanka and NZ will die in the super sixes stage.
