I think it was more because I waited for snow to end before shoveling and by the time I started, it was frozen. So it was tough to pick one and a half ft snow from all around.

After all the good days we saw in February with temp raising as much as around 69F somedays, two days back they started projecting a snow storm. It literally triggered a panic with people hoarding things and going crazy as usual. It was a forecast of 2 ft. snow with heavy wind gusts in entire NY and New England area. All schools and most of the offices were announced shutdown by yesterday earlier.
But luckily this morning when i woke up it was pleasing to see that it hardly snowed few inches and then turned into heavy rain with some wild gusts. Western NY still got around 1 ft but its much less than the announced so phew!!!

Thanks heavens, my boy is flying into JFK on 19th on route to Florida with his team and I heard him talk to his mom about the pending storm. Kindda makes us worried he is only 14.

Today was a snow day!! We had severe snow storm warning yesterday and it was snowing quite a bit till late evening.
Schools/Universities were cancelled
Got to work from home. Life is good

Harris’s team got stuck at JFK Newyork Airport, I hear there is wind and weather issues. Parents are mad at the Coach for picking JFK connection, but I am happy Harris is getting a learning experience with weather.

Thank you so much, they arrived in Fort Meyers at 1.30 am. My boy doesn’t call or text he is busy having fun, his teammate Jason texts his mom regularly so we get the updates.

It was officially the coldest day pf 2017 yesterday, with the windchill we reached -38C. Good thing we spent the whole day in the mall. My throat froze walking from the car to the mall, should have brought a scarf.
