Ok, update. The sex reducing cramps thing is a myth. If you take any birth control pills that may reduce cramping to a certain degree. But even that doesn't apply to all women.

Right, I thought so. It seemed to be a myth to me as well. Fact confirmed.

Apparantly some cramps can be as bad as going through a mini labour. In which case I'm the mother of multiple proverbials kids and still trucking.
Loads of times I have passed out from the pain completely, once at a concert and other public places too.

just drink as many fluids as you can e.g water, juice, soda tea that is very helpfull and "AAzmooda" treatment for cramps durin gperiods and not periods. It helped me alot....drink as much water as you could.
glad to see im not alone. you guys have actually passed out? ive never passed out, but i can agree with mini labour pain. its miserable. sometimes i wake up in the middle of the night and have to take pain killers on an empty stomach, but a hot water bottle really helps. i also get back pains and my legs hurt too.
Hmm, Shinoo use therapeutic heat wraps....my South African flat mate brought those for me and it really helps....These are infact for menstrual cramp relief. However, similar types of wraps/strips/patch are available that ease and warms the muscles. No need for hot H2O bottle :)
I don’t get THAT much pain, but my legs do ache all day long during my 1st and sometimes even 2nd day of period but I bear through it without taking any medication.
Is back problem also severe & do all girls have back pains be4 their cycle?
Thank god I rarely suffer from backaches! But I know of cases where girls can’t even get up from their beds. And no, not all girls have backaches b4 the period.
Y do u girls go thru this pain?Is there a scientific & a logical Xplanation 2 this
To be blunt, here’s my logicl explanation: there’s an ‘egg’ (and a whole lot of ‘other stuff’) in there somewhere which is dead and needs to leave the body. The body basically pushes it out and I guess that causes the cramps.
And the last question, well I guess it’s different for every girl. Hiccy hit the nail on the head, it really is a bloody mini-labour I guess I’m not having the 10 kids after all!
Your girls must not have enough blood, or something..I never get cramps(knock on wood), or maybe its just b/c im a beast. Exercising helps, though. It regulates your blood flow, so even if u cant get up, make urself get up and walk around the house a few times.
chocolate really helps
im remembering the days when i had no pain, ive started to have more pain the first couple of days and im at the risk of torching anyone within a 10 mile radius

I was told frequently by my best friends who r females, that they have severe headaches or cramps. Is back problem also severe & do all girls have back pains be4 their cycle? Y do u girls go thru this pain? Is there a scientific & a logical Xplanation 2 this? If a girl has constant sex, would her suffering be reduced be4 her cycle....or would it be even more? I would appreciate it if u answer these questions

lower back aches... sigh... wat women have to go thru.
i know girls who get sever upset stomachs and vomitting during their cycle.
What a topic!
My last two cramps nearly killed me. I could hardly move and I couldn't even hear anything around me except the pounding in my ears. I was drenched in sweat and really wished I were dead (oh great, we yet have to face child birth!). Thank God my neighbour/best friend was there to feed me and pop a pain killer in my mouth. That was only for some time though, thankfully.
I even went to the doc and there's nothing wrong with my blood content. I think I just need complete rest then and not really do something tiring.
