Re: Cow Parade
Not sure if this kind of “higher knowledge” of God and His energy Manifetsted will be easy to grasp for you, but regarding Idol worshipping part-- below is a famous speech delivered by Swami Vivekananda in Chicago a few daceds back.
For info sake Swami Vivekanada is a well known Yogi from Bengal and disciple of Swami Ramkrishna Paramhansa-- Who Himslef realized God and his Nature through devotion of Kali.

There are many more Videos in this series and Swami Vivekananda himself have given knowledge about Dharma very well.
PS:“Path” or “Ritual” or way you follow matters. God Realization should be the ultimate goal for anyone who believes in God.
Btw…Facing towards Saudi Arabia while prayer by Mulsims can also be considered as a ritual which is not commanded directly by God or Through own God Realization .
The bold part please make me understand, your now in a deep problem because you have again made a blunder and passed an absolute statement. This is what i call ignorance at best. I can agree it once but this is become a habit from you.
