Been there done that. All family is in custom settings. It happens, so no need to feel bad.
Also seeing that this is cafe and is full of immature people that can't stay on topic, no need to get really pissed off. Use the whip and bring them back into line. Teerust me

Everything in the topic post has happened to me lol.
I fixed my privacy settings not too long ago. I have deliberately blocked my cousins in Pakistan because there are stuff in my profile that can cause ridiculous rumors which I REALLY don't want. Plus, some of them are my male cousins who they added me themselves but they keep commenting on my statuses.
I really wouldn't want to show any sweet love quotes on my profile, it'll spread to my cousins, BOTH FEMALE AND MALE, like wild fire.
I feel kind of bad doing this. But I'm doing it because I hate how they comment on my status which are mostly for friends and certain people. Not all of the comments are welcomed either. Stuff like dirty inside jokes and love quotes are not meant to be shown to them. I know they'll tell me to 'stop using bad language' that isn't even that bad: like damn or hell.
it's not just my older male cousins I have blocked. Its some of my female cousins too who always get in my business for no reason at all. my Facebook is personal and my relatives can always spread up rumors which I don't want to be spread.
Discuss? DO NOT GO OFF-TOPIC. It is ANNOYING, it is called being a who DOESN'T listen to the OP. if you want to talk about something other then this subject, MAKE YOUR OWN GOD DAMNED FORUM. Mkay, thanks.
a perfectly understandable situation. though i am a guy but my mentality is way different from my fam and brothers point of view. most of my cousins also think the same. For this reason i have created different security groups
- Red Zone: People who are not allowed to see anything, or to post anything
- Green Zone: people who are alowed to see everything
- Fam: restricted group .. things tehy are not allowed to see are my comments, my shared videos links .. etc
and there are other configurations i have done as well .. ..

yeaaaa…I haven’t had any problems but I do understand your problem. My FB account has only very few cousins…the ones who know me well…know me well enough to keep their noses out of my business or else 
But what I have found sooo annoying are my aunties and uncles who have opened FB accounts to keep a tab on us kids 
My cousins add them on coz they don’t want to be rude…but me NO CHANCE…all of them are still on my request list 
I mean commonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn…they should know better than that…

haahaha. i don’t want to be rude, but another reason is that they’ll think i’m being secretive. and when they see my personal stuff on facebook meant for mostly friends, they’ll call me an umreeki or beghairat or something lol

I have my cousins on FB when its activated.Its fun with them
Most of my cousins fill my page with quizzes/worthless tags/ etc. they also comment on my status.
i knew this ONE married cousin of me and she was the only one who COMMENTED ON EVERYTHING. even my lovey-dovey quotes lol. she made stuff like ‘oh thats stupid’ or oh you’re a nerd or annoying comments like that. she is a very quiet person in real, but on facebook she’s like a total snoop or something.
