Nicaragua - makes me sick thinking of the heat… was well into the 90s… and the bee stings!!! 
Stopped off in Leon and Granada…but we spent most of the time driving through…
Belize - the hubby and i went to belize City a couple of years back…i had a horrible time there…not a friendly city AT ALL. It’s one where i felt you had to constantly watch your back…It’s the kinda place that does not leave a good impression… the Zoo was nice though … hubby like it… he had an endless supply of cuban cigars there 
… but haha he couldn’t bring any home which i was happy about
