That's true and my idea of a regulated system for prostitutes would also include background checks on all women (even men for that matter) who want to engage in that business. Are they really this desperate or do they have other means of income?

This is age old profession and by now every adult should know even where it is not considered "legal" no jails are full of these professionals and business still goes on and no govt. laws can really stop it.
