In Ireland, I doubt any Irish woman would need to turn to prostitution because the government pays those who are jobless and there’s other schemes like the child benefit scheme.

And I’m willing to bet there are many Irish prostitutes despite all that. Say what you want, but the fact is no benefits will ever pay as well as prostitution. Yes a lot of women are coerced or forced by their financial circumstances but sometimes they just do it for the easy way out.

But how do you know that they’re doing it just for the easy way? prostitutes hardly have a choice in what they want to do, whereas no man is EVER forced to sleep with a woman and pay her…

And I really think someone’s having a really bad day. This is a discussion forum where we discuss all sorts of topics not because we’re doing research on something but because that’s why Allah mian gave us a dimagh - to think, ask and elaborate.

That’s true and my idea of a regulated system for prostitutes would also include background checks on all women (even men for that matter) who want to engage in that business. Are they really this desperate or do they have other means of income?

Yeah but in developed countries where sex trafficking isn’t so common and there are other ways to avoid poverty, some women only do it for the good money. You know there are male prostitutes too, I wonder who forced them into the business.

I think prostitution is legal in Las Vegas, though I am not sure if extends to the whole state of Nevada.

Why OP is so surprised by one article she ‘accidentally’ found while searching, that has Iran in it?

This is age old profession and by now every adult should know even where it is not considered “legal” no jails are full of these professionals and business still goes on and no govt. laws can really stop it.

Its legal in Nevada.

And women are not victims here They had a show on CNBC about the sex business in Nevada and some of those women make a lot of money.
