It doesnt make any sense , Why Mir nasir khan brahui followed Ahmad shah abdali to panipat like an obedient puppy if has already defeated abdali at seige of kalat in 1758?. Mir nasir khan revolted to gain Independence from Afghans, that is true, but history is very clear that he failed and Kalat still remained vassal state of Afghans. It was greatness of Ahmad shah abdali that he didnt kill him, he kept his dignity and to do ‘marham-pati’ on his wounds, Abdali took Mir naseer khan’s cousin as wife, forging the rishta-dari. Abdali also took mughal emperor’s sister as his wife. This is sign of subjugation. Forexample

Around 1730 AD, Mian Nur Muhammad Kalhora alias Khudayar Khan Abbasi, Sabit-i-Jang appointed Murad Kaleri alias Ganja the Governor of Sibi. According to Ghulam Rasul Mehr (Tarikh-i-Sind) the new governor crushed the semi-independent feudal lords of Kachhi. Mir Abdullah of Kalat felt apprehensive of this new development. He offered two of his daughters to the two sons of Mian Nur Muhammad Kalhoras. The peace did not last long. In 1731 AD, the Mir attacked Kachhi. Mir Abdullah Khan, the eagle of the mountains, was killed during the fight. According to Tahfat-ul-Karram this reverse broke the backbone of the Brahuis.

In the year 1142 A.H. (1729 A.D.) Murad Kaleri, tribal chiefs of the country near Siwi brought into subjection. Murad Kaleri was also known as Ganjah, was appointed by Main Noor Mohammad Kalhoro as an agent in charge of Siwí, and brought into subjection powerful chiefs like ** the land owner of Ganjobah, Ali Mardan Abro and Ibrahim Khan Abro, Jafar Khan Magsí,the barozai pathans in sibi. and the land owner of Ganjobah Ali Mardan Abro and Ibrahim Khan Abro chiefs of Nausharo, Kachhi, Mahyan Eri and Lahná Machhi, big land owners of Bhag Nari, Kala Khan and other chiefs the owners of Dhadhar.

Mián Núr Muhammad now commenced hostilities with Mír Abdulláh the Khan of Kalat, who was a Baloch and got the title of “the Eagle of Kóhistán” In 1143 A.H. (1730 A.D.) he marched and took the fort of Kartah from Mubárak Khán,

in 1144 A.H. (1731 A.D.) a force of Baloch, invaded the land of Káchhah and occupied that part of the country.**
In 1145 A.H. (1732 A.D.) the Mián’s son Muhammad went to Khiár and Wankár with a few selected chiefs and celebrated his marriage with a daughter of Murádalí Khán, a cousin of Khan of Kalat Mír Abdulláh Khán; and in the next year his other son Khudádád Khán also married a daughter of a kinsman of his. Thus the connection between the Siráís and the Baloch became stronger and closer by these marriages.(Ahmadzai 1995)

A period of expansion then commenced. Khan of Kalat Mir Ahmad Khan Baloch made successive descents on the plains of Sibi. ****Khan of Kalat Mir Samandar Khan Baloch extended his raids to Zhob, Bori, and Thal-Chotiali,and levied an annual sum of Rs. 40,000 from the Kalhoras and Khan of Kalat Mir Samandar Khan Baloch also led an expeditionary force into Loralai(Bori)and Zhob.He remained in the area for a month and collected a large booty from the pashtun tribes (G P Tate,1973) .

Mir Abdullah was eventually slain in a fight with the Kalhoras at Jandrihar near Sanni in Kachh still the baloch prevailed upon the Kalhoras :)(the baloch and balochistan naseer dashti)
