Could Pakistan Become a Super Power? PLZ Share ur ideas! :)

Technically speaking it is one in the making.

It is the only Muslim country in the world who's name was chosen purely as an Islamic state. I:e It's not named after any particular tribe or nation.

Furthermore as events prior to it's creation show, it was indeed at one time the spiritual heart of the worlds Muslims.

As for a superpower it is not a superpower as such, more a micro-power. For a relatively small country to have even come as far as Pakistan is nomean feat. It shows that the martial spirit of the Pakistani people is an immovable force to be reckoned with.

True if we had better leaders etc we would be a more influential nation on the global stage, but besides politics the average Pakistani person is not a blockhead no matter what others say.

Furthermore if Pakistan's people can revive the spirit which created their nation, then who's to say they cannot dominate the globe like America. America for that matter is not more than 300 years old. Thats a baby in Historical terms..... The people that created America had not half the verve and skill that some of Pakistans sons of Muslim have shown. George Washington's army actually lost most of it's battles with the British, but it went on to win the war.

Ironically Pakistans army is like the Sparta of the East. Despite the relatively small country it's army is huge in comparrison to other nations of it's own size and calliber. Unlike the early Americans our Army tends to perform very well on the field but poorly as a political tool (which it should'nt be used for!). Pakistan actually mirrors America very well in some respects. We too have a troublesome Wild west of our own! But we have also been gifted with men just as heroic as Davy crocket and Jim Bowie, except we fail to recognise them.

I tell you just like America Pakistan might see a civil war. Sadly if Allah wills one side to kill off the other then so be it. Furthermore like America we too have our own Texas in the making. Our "lawless" frontiers are no different to 19th century Texas, here too the native face an enormous foreign army, however if like the Texan war of independance these tribals beat the American's then we could be in for strange times indeed.

It actually shocks me sometimes when i see correlations between us and other nations. For example we also share some of the Isreali mentallity too.... it's almost as if we are the opposite faces of yin/yang and as any historian says history has a strange way of repeating itself?

Anyway these are just points to consider.

Personally i don't really know if Pakistan is a superpower. In a sense it isn't one at the moment. But it has all the markings of one.

If the likes Qaid-E-Azaam or Liyakaat Ali, even Zulfikar Ali Bhuto were still alive then maybe we would already be a superpower. As it is we could well be a superpower in the making.

For those that are reading this and laughing go ahead and do some research! you'll find some scary correlations that won't let you sleep easily i tell you.

Pakistan is in all probability one of destinies sleeping dragons.

Who knows Allah may wake it up soon enough!
