You haven’t posted your look yet!!
Ok I guess I’ll post my product list, for what I can remember:
NYX Eyeshadow base in Skin Tone
Almay eye shadow in Apricot
Coastal Scents 88 eyeshadow palette (yes I’m still rocking mine
)
L’oreal Lineur Intense eyeliner
L’oreal Voluminous mascara.
Re: Copy THAT Look | EMS : 1
Thanks for liking the pics! I forgot to mention what I used. I used Ben Nye eye shadows. I can't ever remember the names. My foundation was Graftobian. Mascara was Loreal Voluminous. Eye liner was Mac's gel liner.
Next time, I will remember the names of eyeshadows.
Re: Copy THAT Look | EMS : 1
Lovely eyebrows ess em :) i cant see theorist.....
I want to.copy this look too!!!
That Inglot color she used is gorgeous!
Re: Copy THAT Look | EMS : 1
So today I was bored and thought of giving this look a shot
I think half of my camera lens was probably dirty hence why half side of my face seems blurry or a bit different in colour.
Re: Copy THAT Look | EMS : 1
^You did it so perfectly! Good job!
Re: Copy THAT Look | EMS : 1
^ lol thanx
I will post everything I used , I just don't remember everything off top of my head so I'll have to go back to my makeup station and see what I had used, first I'm gonna go eat, so hungry lol
Re: Copy THAT Look | EMS : 1
Mashallah I am so in love with your eyes!
Re: Copy THAT Look | EMS : 1
So the products I used were:
FACE:
Foundation: I mixed Revlon Colour Stay liquid Foundation in 220 natural beige and Illamasqua Rich Liquid in RF 233
Concealer: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser in 20 light
Powder: Revlon Nearly Naked in 020 light
I also used another setting powder on top, Hourglass Ambient Light Powder in Dim Light. Let me just say this stuff is amazing, I can go on and on and on about this product. I wasn't ever familiar with setting powders until recently when a few beauty guru's started raving about the ambient lighting powders. At first I didn't pay much attention but as the hype grew I started searching reviews for this product and slowly I got convinced to buy this. If i'm interested in a product I usually go buy it or get a sample but this is a expensive setting powder so that is why I was a bit hesitant at first, I just didn't want to splurge the money on an average item that wasn't worth it. And I find a lot of the you-tuber's do go and splurge money on average items that have comparable dupe's at the drugstore but they can justify it since they make enough and that is what they do. Anyway this product is AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! It is very hard to explain what exactly it does but its very finely mild baked powder that has iridescent sheen to it. It claims to blur imperfections and give you a glowy complexion. And I have to say it does exactly as it claims, It really just blurs the minor flaws and just fills in and really gives the face an overall completed look, and it give's such a pretty sheen to the skin it's not shimmery at all but just ever so slightly gives this glow and really makes the skin look fresh and healthy. I'm defiantly hooked on to this item without it I feel I'm missing something. This comes in other colours but I find this one and the moon light have the finest shimmer to them, I really wanted the diffused light but when I swatched it at the store on my hand it seemed as if it had some noticeable shimmer particles so then I narrowed it down to moonlight and dim light as these two seemed that had very finely mild sheen but moonlight was more on a pinky lilac undertone and so I didn't want my face looking all pinky so then I got this one. But I've heard really good things about the diffused light, maybe on the face the shimmer particles don't show up, i'll probably get the diffused light once I'm done with this one, as it has yellow undertone and I like that.
Okay ight I'm done with raving on about this product, so lets continue with the products I used LOL
Blush: Milani's Baked blush in Dolce Pink ( I'm in love with this blush very nice quality blush, I will get more shades)
Contour ( you can't see in the pic but i'll mention it anyway lol ): NYC Smooth Skin bronzer in 720A Sunny and since bronzer's tend to be on a orangy side I usually mix them with a cooled toned matt brown shadow, so I mixed it with Buck eyeshadow from the Urban Decay's Naked 1 palette.
EYES: Urban Decay's original Primer Potion. To line the fat wing at the outer corner I used Rimmel's Scandal eyes kajal in 001 black ( I wouldn't recommend that for smudging proposes since it sets fairly quick and it is harder to smudge as it is not meant for smudging, but I couldn't find any gel or other smudgy type liner so I just used that). Then I used the NYC bronzer and Buck eyeshadow in my crease and also to set the black liner and make it lighter and diffused in colour. Then I applied Half Baked from Naked palette but then I noticed that the gold eyeshadow the girl applied in the vid was slightly more of a orangy gold colour so then I applied very little bit of a coppery orange from a generic sephora palette and blended the two and that is how I got my gold to get slightly less yellow and more warmer. then I went back with my brush that had left over liner from smudging earlier and just went over the outer corner to get it a bit deeper as the earlier blending sorta covered the black. But I didn't not apply any extra black since black is a very harsh colour it is very easy to over do it and especially in this look it seemed that the girl kept the look to more of a diffused smokey smouldering type so I defiantly didn't want anything to look harsh. I usually never go without my dark dramatic fe line winged liner lol but today I did try something different. As for the brow bone and inner corner highlight I just used Virgin from the Naked palette. Then I used Loreal Carbon Black Voluminous and Loreal Butterfly mascara ( Both amazing mascara's Love them, I pretty much think Loreal has the best mascara's most of my favourite ones are from Loreal) I usually finish it off with Benefit's They're Real mascara but I wasn't going anywhere especial and that mascara is hard to take of so that is why I didn't bother But that mascara really good as well. And to finish everything off and get rid of the some of the powdery look I sprayed my face with Urban Decay's setting spray. I think nor matter what look your going for you should always finish off with a setting spray not only does it make your make up last much longer it also get rid of that slightly cakey look and even when I didn't have a setting spray I would just mist my face with some water it works the same only it doesn't aid in pro longing the wear time.
I think I pretty much covered everything, hopefully lol
Let me know if anyone has any other questions
Re: Copy THAT Look | EMS : 1
I forgot to mention the Bottom lash line and Brows
So I used the same black liner in my water line but I only lined my water line half way just like the girl had and on the lash line I used cover girl's brow pencil in midnight brown and and then smudged it all with Smog from Naked palette. I don't know why I used the brown I don't even think it made a different it all looks black anyway whatever.
and I used the same Cover girl brown pencil to fill in my brows.
Re: Copy THAT Look | EMS : 1
My take :
My camera wouldn’t focus on both eyes, and had awful lighting. But anyways, the first pic is edited while other 2 aren’t. I’ll list the products late this evening.
Before–After
The process : from no makeup at all to the final look.
Makeup in different lightings.
