Restful sleep is a wondrous thing that I'm no longer capable of!!
Another thing I miss at times....the ability to grab my car keys and go. Thats forever a thing of the past. When they're really small, its diaper bags, heavy carrier car seats, toys, snacks etc etc. Its a bit easier now that the kids are older but its still a huge thing to even go to the grocery store. Where are the socks and shoes, who put them on the wrong feet, where are coats...help them zip, buckling into booster seats, who forgot to put their lunch in their backpack, where is your library book, stop fighting back there!, no we can't buy this, we cant buy that, no you never pick candy off the floor....you get the idea.
Yup...grabbing the car keys and just going. I miss that.
