One beer doesn't make you an alcoholic but it does make you a drinker, have it be a social or a casual drinker.

i heard from many people saying, i'm not a drinker i take only one beer, :)

Once in a month or so - I also take one beer. And then one more and after that one...

It all depends what kind of people you see, I know some drinkers who are better humans and more responsible hence more respectable than your 5 times namaazis.

Can you back up your statement with facts and figures. Are you saying that all non drinkers are respectable people, I disagree, look at the corruption in Pakistan and then compare it to any drinking nation.

As far as I am concerned a person who drinks but carry out his duties towards his fellow humans and family is far better than a person who is praying five times a day but do not care for anything else.

PS: Not consuming alcohol do not gives you respect automatically, you still have to earn it.
