consultancy

Re: consultancy

Midnight , that is brilliant news .. congrats mate … its actually a huge achievement …

Now , In my experience Deloitte has always been a better firm to work for culture wise, they are very friendly and promotions take place at a good pace.
On the other hand KPMG has a better world ranking but they have a very stiff working environment and the work culture is extremely pressurizing but you do manage to get the world’s bestest training in KPMG .. promotions dont happen that easily though, you gotta be with them for ages and ages before anything happens .. and its quite a dominating workplace .. the seniors dominate you ..

But thats UK Big 4 .. you must try and find out whose reputation is what in your country .. most of the time they have a very stark persona coz everyone gets trained in the same way .. even their utna bethna seems the same :omg:

Secondly and the most important bit : you need to sit down and think whose opportunity is closest to taking you closer to your longer term goals …

so yeah , all the very best and let us know who you choose in the end :e6:

Re: consultancy

CONGRATS from my side as well :flowers:

Re: consultancy

I was stuck too....

you need to ask around which firm has the better reputation/clientele in the area you are interested in joining..

not all firms are same......... some have their audit practice which is very renowned and well established, some have very good consulting business and like...

whatever area you are intersted to join in.... research about how much name/big clients that firm has in that specific area........

Re: consultancy

guess whose starting at Deloitte in april :D
