I have worked with him in the past. He placed me at a company. I’ve met him before.
My reason for asking was that the current assignment ended with the company and they could not hire me full time. Surprisingly, I got a call a few weeks back saying that he had a company looking for a part time position. He gave me the details and told me it was again temporary. It was a different job and not related to what I was looking for. I told him I will get back to him and left the door open for future contact. I did not take on the new assignment.
Your last part is a great idea. I will get touch with him to see if he can place me with someone who may help me in a better way and establish a new network.
