Salman… i went and read the translation myself.. and cannot find the translation you have given.. but instead it says exactly what PA stated..
The way our beloved Prophet :saw: walked, talked, and did every thing in life is the height of perfection!!! Follow it and achieve salvation , leave it and go estray!
Without the personal example of the Prophet :saw: you cannot fully apply Quran.

The “Rooh” of the Rasoolulah:saw: was the first creation of Allah:swt:, Adam:as: being the first human being is absolutely true as per Quran.

according to ahaadeeth, it is in the writings that the universe was created for Rasoolulah:saw: .. as for the noor, NO.. he was a human being and a Prophet of ALLAH, the last one… BUT Noor-e-Nabi refers to his “Rooh”… people have exagerated the NOOR - The concept of soul - and made him:saw: something equivalent to angel.. He is way above than that.. His:saw: place is the Place of Mahmood.. He is Syyed-ul-Anbiya and all the prohets were human.. and humans are Ashraf-ul-Makhlooqaat… Yet, he is not any other ordinary man… Wahi comes to him.. he sees angels.. he went to sidrat-ul-muntahaa physically… He talked to the Creator of all directly and last two ayaahs of Surah Baqarah were given to him directly without the medium of wahi…
He has given us the knowledge of future with the permission of ALLAH.. including the very knowledge of Last Day is coming… He was given knowledge of future by ALLAH only what ALLAH gave him… he was told that Roman will arise and that will be day when beleivers will also feel the mercy of ALLAH… and that prophecy of Surah Room came true on Ramadhan 17, 2 Hijrah on the day of Bad’r…

Sadzz, I am no scholar, 30% of relgion I learnt here on gupistan, by exploring this site. Whenever somebody asked question, and i knew the answer of it i always went looking for the reference for it. The best way i do it is “www.google.com”. 90% of my religion posts are backed up by that site. Meaning i type in the key words and find it so easily. Like I put " the first creation of Allah" and i got this very self explainatory website **"Mohammad :saw: the first creation" **
Read through that website, also if you do what I did, and read through those links ( it might take you 20 min the most ) to grasp the idea. You will then came to know what is wrong and what is right.

CrruptAngel, this site clearly explains how Prophet Mohammad :saw: is not a noor. AQ is rite at what he is saying. Furthermore read through this website And it will answer all help you solve all your questinos.

Allah’s noor can never be parted in any case. If some one believes that he sallallahu alaihi wasallam was a part of Allah’s noor he is really a mushrik. However he sallallahu alaihi wasallam was from the noor Allah Almighty in such a way that no part of Allah’s noor separated from the noor of Allah Almighty. It can be understood by an example that if we put a mirror in the direction of Sun so its reflection will appear in the mirror and no part of the sun will separate from it or it can be understand by the example that if we kindle a lamp by another burning lamp likewise if we kindle hundreds of lamps no light decreases from the first lamp but the all other lamps also be kindled. Likewise was the example of our beloved Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam, when the eternal noor of Allah Taala came on the mirror of edam (nothing) the first creation which came into being was our holy Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam in a manner no light separated from the eternal light of Allah Almighty.

As a child raised in the catholic tradition.... in religion class the nuns taught me about the Tigress and Euphrates rivers in 2nd grade. They also informed about Mohammad. Religion class was taught by Nuns.
I wasn't really taught of the religion or religious practises of Islam or any history of Mohammad. I also not ever taught negatives toward Muslims or any religious.
As a child I was of the idea that Mohammad, Moses and Jesus were brothers.
