Antonin Scalia, (Richard Nixon in the witness protection program) is a close personal friend with the Dick and the Rummy… They recently had supper together at a restaurant and also went duck hunting… (They love to kill little things that can’t shoot back? Maybe we could send them to Iraq or Afghanistan to relieve this urge.)
Tony, Impartial One, Scalia will be hearing the case on the Dick’s energy proceedings when it goes to the not so supreme court… When questioned about his ability to be impartial in this he said it was foolish to think he couldn’t be fair and impartial making a judgement on something that affected one of his close friends.
Yah, Tony, like your rulings never are swayed by your politcal far right beliefs. Look at what he has ruled on and you will see a pattern of always going to the far right… Now I am not saying that is always wrong, but it shows he, like most of us, are affected by our personal beliefs. To say his feelings and beliefs don’t affect his rulings is not only false but just plain stupid.
In any other case of a judge, would they allow him/her to rule on a friends case? I guess when you own the legislative, executive and judicial branches of governemnt and you are conservative, you make up the rules to fit your needs.
