But if I upgrade the ram I might be up again..
I bought that laptop a week ago and so far all I have done is left it sitting on my desk on.
I will go and check to see if ithas a DVD/RW or not…then I will post here again…or upgrade by earlier posting if I can.

Okay I have a DVD burner also....I still havent looked at this awsome laptop and the kicker is that I paid 650 only....now can anyone beat that price.

The following is a cut and paste. But notice that it says at the bottom it said that is was 1.6 however when I got it and checked it it was 1.8. Also it said winxp home in the detailed description but whehn I got it it was xp pro. same with CD writer being a DVD writer. SO I lucked out and all for really cheap.

Fayax, ur laptop is hefty dude. I’m sure ur arms and shoulders are all buffed up by now. According to the specs it is DVD rom, and CD burner. My laptop is the Sony Z1VAP, its a little older and 1 gb is the max memory it takes so I’m stuck. I did upgrade the HD and Wifi.
On a normal basis I have 2-3 virtual PCs on my system, which includes Whoppix and a Win2003 server. I also do some graphic editing, not to mention a few telnet session and other regular stuff which is the life of a netadmin. And ofcourse posting to GS being the highest priority of it all. So the resources really don’t just sit there.

According to the specs it also said that it was 1.6 Ghz and also said that if had office XP Home. But those were wrong also.

hey i have something just like that!! except it’s running '98SE and HD is 4GB, no AGP though.. total cost including 15" color monitor… drum rolls… 50 cents!!!
