Re: Complicity is the same as
thanks all. this questions means a lot to me personally, as in even informal counseling as a professional duty, one must be able to withhold any personal feelings or biases and realistically observe the true kind of impact that the want for attention is required or called out for a sign of help seeking behavior, by teenagers or youth/grownups.
how best the other pewrson tries to understand, is phrased as such because i find when work is a lot, & a student has to be informally counseled, s/he needs to know the value of an appointment or even if they are to come without an appointment, they must realize in their own way, how to wait. they will get the attention they deserve, but it cant be that the role model will drop everything to attend to them singly.
it is true of all relations we have, and how we prioritize them, how much privacy we allow each relationship and what happens when at times we cant give as much attention.
after a while, one should be able to know and feel comfortable that eventually one will be attended to. and that comfort enable the attention giving individual a lot more room to attend fully.
