but even at the height of his political power Ali(as) never introduced a "new" Quran, even when most of the tribes were backing him and were ready to fight for him Furthermore the Qurra of kufa amongst the staunchest supporters of Ali(as) also did not unveil a new quran as far as I know
ONLY REASON was DANGER FOR ISLAM: As he did not fight for his own right of KHILAFAT during the time of the first three KHALIFA
