Re: Comparative Religion
All religions in the world, say there is one God. (For people who don't know - even Hinduism says that).
All religions show the path to goodness & truthfulness.
All religions want us to be humble and pious.
I think the problem arises in religions - when they each claim to be the only true faith!!
and rubbish the other religions.
Jesus was the son of God, Mohamed the true prophet, Ram, Krishna etc the avatars of God.
Religion mixed with brain washing by the priests, Mullahs, Gurus etc has created hate & intolerance to each other's faith.
I think the idea of reading each others religious books is a very good idea - for once we read them we will realise they all have the same message. Different paths to the same destination.
