different schools of thought have different opinions on these matters....
so dont start a fight if u see answers different from what u have heard or been taught....
e.g. not everyone thinks that using a toothpaste effects ur fasting....
also not everyone thinks that unintentional vomitting breaks the fast....

^ Like someone said before, if you unintentionally vomit, that shows a sign of being sick..as far as i knw vomiting is very severe so its best not to fast..

i dinno abt the 3rd one…
i dinno we had to make niyyat…i mean i know i have to fast…n i fast…tht is it…never thought abt thte niyyat thingy…
n when i was small…i would wish key main ghaltii sey khaa loon…
…but tht did not happen…i would alwayz remember key i was fasting right before i was abt to eat anything…

Instead of believing in what you're being told, go look for appropriate fatawa, so that you can make an informed decision.

my personal opinion, use a toothpaste which does not have a strong taste/smell and does not foam a lot…
and yes i hope you know that u r not allowed to swallow the toothpaste…
because of all the precautions, some ulemaa will tend to tell u that toothpaste is not allowed…
more so because u have a very good option in miswaak, which is undoubtedly allowed while fasting…
