can someone plz tell me what louki is? am wanting to try the recipe but am confused if it zuchinni/squash/pumpkin and whether u can use thm interchangebly
i believe it is squash. i think they all taste a little different so if you're not looking for a specific taste, then you could substitute one for another.

Hey Ladies
I happen to have a lot of free time on hand and I love the Pakaya khaya thread. I thought I would post out all the recipes from the thread here!
I was doing that for myself since I love cooking and those are tried and tested recipes. Whats better than that! So I though I might as well make life easy for fellow guppans.
I think if a recipe is being requested in Pakaya/khaya thread then it can be posted here, what say?
P.S. I ll post one recipe in a single post, if that's ok with the mods..

This particular recipe does not require adding a whole lot of water. Only add a little water (towards the middle) if meat seems to be having trouble tenderizing.
umm.. girls where to post the recipe? lol i'm lost!
Re: Appetizers

i made **Black Forest Delight by Shumaisa **last week, i made four portions and it was well received lol, however it didnt look as impressive as Shumaisa’s, annnnnd cos i was guessing how much icing sugar to put in and how much chocolate to melt etc, i only just managed to make four portions lol. anyway it was nice

^^mmm looks delicious...im gonna add the pics to that thread
** Pineapple Tart**
Ingredients: 1) One packet of Candi Biscuits. 2) One can of sweetened Condense Milk. 3) One can of Pineapples. 4) One packet of Cream. 5) 2 or 3 Sliced Bananas.
Method: First of all take one packet of candi biscuits and crush them. Then put the crush of the biscuits in the container, and press it. Afterwards, pour sweetened condense milk on the crush biscuits, and on that layer put the sliced bananas, then add cream, and make a layer of pineapples on that cream and put some more cream. Finally, decorate it with pineapples or bananas.
other option for candi biscuits?
Re: Desserts
^ graham crackers, i'm guessing. also it helps to add a bit of melted butter to the cookies as it helps to press them better into the pan and stay firm instead of being all dry and crumbly.
Re: Desserts
and what abt digestive biscuits?
Re: Comments from RECIPES
Shumaisa - do you by any chance have the quantites for the ingrediants used in the Gajar ka Halwa? if you could post them that would be great!! Thanks!
