According to the discussion else where here is a bit of a detail.
Khana Kaba is 4x4 and the Ghalaf (cover) that is on there is black due to Arab’s tradition, and they want to keep it that way. It doesnt have to be black.

^ Well, color representation veries by nation. So it is hard to tell if its sorrow/ grief or Romantic/can be gifted to a friend/ etc.

I honestly think a black color gift now a days does not matter at all

Its just a colour at the end of the day....
Well, Black does represent dullness or negativeness..as in if I dont like you and I want to give you a present I’d just wrap the gift in a black piece of paper

my babhi's familiy is very strict abt to dont wear black!
well i hate black 2 i cant wear if somebody dies like these christian ppl do and in summer i just cant standout that colour
