I agree that the story line is weak but the direction is amazing. Some scenes reminded me of heat, like when he shoots the two muggers as well as the chinese bar scene.
I Robot's a disappointment...infact, lemme just kill it for you

Re: Collateral - Movie is well-made, acting is fine... but the plot/story is non-existent. Na sarr na per. As if written by a six-year old. I dunno, but in IMV I just wasted nine bucks.
By the way, there are plenty of dull moments.. esp. when Foxx goes off in his la la land.
