You can walk away from an account any time you want.
Your posts won't be deleted, because they are part of discussions and others may have responded to them or a good discussion may be ruined by removing the replies in the middle. That is unfair on other members who gave their input and those who are reading the discussions.
We can delete your username as well, but the only thing that will do is your posts will appear as if from a 'Guest' and someone else can register your nick. Thats about it.
So if you just don't want to post any more, I suggest you just walk away.
