Tariq, I assume you are young...let me tell you why GE sold its captive unit. It wanted to MAKE MONEY. It turned a cost center into profit center...it sold it to General Atlantic Parnters..one of the biggest private equity firms in the world. this is good for India. this means that people can actually make money from investment .
Secondly, rest be assured..companies int eh US would first go to bangladesh than Pakistan. It is called perceptive risk.
