Thanks guys .. but it looks like there are still lots of jobs asking for part qualified CIMA/ACCA professionals here in the UK .. I dont get it though .. with such a huge supply of ACA’s these days .. how come CIMA is getting so much attention .. or am I wrong? :konfused:

CIMA is generally considered harder to pass then ACCA. That's why still it has got job market in the UK and moreover it is considered equivalent to UK masters's degree. Recently CIMA has introduced some modern qualification such as Islamic Finance as well.

ACCA has got an edge. Their exceptionally first time qualifiers can get jobs in big international firm whereas any CIMA qualified is hardly employed by these big 5 or 10 firms. Moreover ACCA can do audit as do the CAs but CMAs cant.
