You guys celebrate Christmas? Not Muslim?
I've seen a lot of Punjabis celebrate it yet not give due attention to our own Eids, I'd hate to imagine what their children and future generations will end up like.
I've never celebrated it myself and never will, I use to give cards to Christian school mates and colleagues to wish them, hoping I would get Eid cards in return but instead I just got Christmas ones, it's not like they didn't know I don't celebrate it or when Eid is, so I stopped because I want my own religious traditions to stay alive in this country and I don't want to partake in those of others, my intention at first was just to be courteous and wish them but I get some in return and all this does no justice to my Muslim identity of which I'm very proud.
