The Hefei cement production research and design institute recently signed a 17.8-million-US-dollar contract to export a cement production line to the Lucky group in Pakistan.

The Hefei cement production research and design institute recently signed a 17.8-million-US-dollar contract to export a cement production line to the Lucky group in Pakistan.

The assembling of the line with a daily production capacity of 3,000 tons of cement will take 15 months. Upon completion, the line is expected to be turned into one of the largest of its kind in Pakistan, thus enabling Lucky to become the leading cement producer in the country from its current second status.

The Hefei institute, one of the leaders of its kind in China, has been working in close cooperation with Pakistani cement makerssince 2001, expanding China’s cement exports to Pakistan.
