Pakistanis have taken to the street (to put it mildly) for much less. An anti-Islam video posted online by a private individual in the US is all it took to invoke the wrath of the Pak masses and get YouTube banned in Pakistan.

The video/cartoons were made to make a generalized mockery of Islam.
China is suppressing its own people.
Having said that China is wrong and not only Pakistan but all Muslim and those countries who like to promote religious freedom should file protests.

Yes I can do better than that, so can everyone else that includes you :). As Diwana said, since China has not "said" anything to ridicule/insult Islam/Prophet PBUH there won't be an uproar, as much as you may be looking for a clash on streets it is not happening (as you already 'observed' it :) ).
