Thanks Maroush - I wasn’t expecting a glare. I am not into caffeine so much. Is it true that it stunts growth? So much for the kids and red bull.
It wasn’t like I was feeding her sherry (BTW some parents still do that)
Not sure about it stunting growth..
Just keep in mind that caffeine is a stimulant… not giving them caffeine is for your benefit in the end… otherwise you children will be all

Gimme some coke, now!
And this is what a grown-up will sound like if you give them too much caffeine as a kid!
somegroovychick:
my italian friends have no problems giving their children a piece of bread dipped in wine (only on special occasions, once in a while) so they can suck on it and develop a taste for it, but coffee is a huge no-no! weird.
I know right! My hubby was a allowed to take sips of wine as a child, but caffeine in the form of tea or coffee was strictly not allowed!

Re: Children and Caffeine
Seems like a good idea to limit caffeine (not only for kids' health but your own sanity as Maroush has noted!) but it's too bad that lady glared at you. I really wish people would mind their own business.
