u will never get the taste from ground garam masala that u will from whole garam masala (plus ure yakhni will turn black :D)… i’ll tell u the easy way out … take an old net dupatta or muslin cloth… put all ure garam masala in there and tie a knot… and put into pot.. do ure yakhni cooking. and when its done… simply remove the cloth holding the garam masala…
it will probably make u go “voila” and also amaze u at how fast u can eat pulao now .. than all those yrs before when u had to “clean” the plate of all teh garam masala bits
