a lot of widowers opt to not marry. so there is absolutely nothing wrong with not remarrying.

becoz have u ever noticed. when a woman is widowed, more often then not she does not remarry

but there have been hundreds of instances that biwi kay intekal ko do din nahi huye and they r talkin abt another wife :S

that's because a man works (in most cases) and he is unable to raise his kids alone.

as far as women not remarrying (which isnt always the case)...what dont they? they chose not 2.....but that doesnt mean that a man has to do the same.

yeah...that's when the kids have the extended family and themselves. they don't have to remarry for the billionth time.

the dad has to respect the feelings of the kids. he can't be that much of a weakling. kids then end up losing respect for such a dad who can't even stand up for his own kids.

i dun think it’s abt raising kids…becoz she says her & her siblings r old enuf to take care of themselves.

usually in our society if a women remarries it’s looked down upon, but a man can marry even a third time and it’s ok?

& how is getting married again to another woman a way to grieve his last wife that passed away only 2 days ago?

men are weak, they need women…i understand all that, but 2 days after is just a bit inappropriate, don’t u think?

My siblings from this marriage are 19, 16, 14 1/2, 7
Hardly in need of a mother figure... besides they have meeeee and my babushka itsrealy so simple. None of us agree to it, except him.

the point is…a man just like a woman…has the right to remarry after the death of a spouse(however many times)! if it was so wrong then it wouldnt be allowed in Islam.

sabriya ur father may not be remarrying just to have a mother figure…men have their needs as well…and no im not talking about physical needs…im talking bout emotional needs…and a need for companionship…would u rather he start dating?
