Amd we directly booked the ticket from their website...check for lowest fare... And if u r a skywards member or become a skyward member..u get reward miles too

I am looking for cheap flight from Los Angeles/San Diego to Lahore after Thanksgiving holidays...for about a month (would like to return by new year) for two adults and a kid.
What websites did you guys use? I've looked on emirates and also called an agent. agent quoted $400 over emirates online fare. am i missing something?
also, is it worth flying into ISB if it is $600+ cheaper overall? What are best options to get to Lahore from ISB?
jumpyb - just to confirm...if we decide to stay in Dubai for a few days do we need to get a visa? all are US citizens.

as far as kids' [2-12] fare is concerned, it's 75% what whatever the adult fare is. babies [up to 2 years] pay 10% of the adult fare that you are paying.

as a general rule: the fares to gateways in a country are always cheaper. gateways are different for different airlines. since most western and US airlines do NOT fly to Pakistan, you have a limited choice and range in fares.
Karachi will definitely be less expensive. flying into ISB, depending on the airline you use, could a nominally cheaper. ONLY Middle Eastern airlines fly to Lahore as i understand.
your best bet would be Middle Eastern Airlines like Etihad, Emirates or Qatar Airways.
flying out of LAX will be the cheapest and inbound journey, if taken after January 9, will cost you much lower.
