a brief history lesson …

looong time ago when we used to rule the irc network with 60+ bots and goverened with an iron fist, i decided to pull out. it is true that 90% of the chat was garbage, but i was worried about the 10% jewels of the talks .. i wanted to preserve the interactions … so, with the help of a few fellow ircers we set up gupshup.org. the idea was that no ‘chat’ should go wasted in the cyberspace …

over the years, we have refined our approaches and streamlined the bulletin software to meet our specific needs .. chat was brought back in 2000 with half heart effort … i still hate it but deem it necessary for casual conservations …

there is a logging feature where i can start accumulating public only chats and make these available but the lack of orginization in the content will make it boring … but then again, i can make it such that you can filter down the chat between certain people and time spans … then it might get interesting …

but what da heck … i am not gona do that .. i am gona concentrate getting the next generation cuztom app developed … integrated Instant Messaging platoform (text, voice, video) pluz the ability to talk to other popular IM platforms (yahoo, MSN, etc). fully integrated buddy list, PM notifications, etc.
