A lot of us were in Uni or college back then so had some more time or the peak used to be in summer holidays. Now we don’t, or if we do then whatsapp has also I guessed not helped GS chat. Plus a lot of chat guppies have either gotten busy with their lives and come less on GS or just don’t come because people move apart too I guess.

With so many different time zones its very hard to come at the same time esp when people have work or just are five or six hours behind each other in a different time zone
