Well as a man, if anyone is trying to change me (be it however sweetly) - I am instantly going run in the opposite direction. Why??? Simply because anyone who is not satisfied with the way I am right now, well never truly be satisfied in reality (no matter how much I keep changing at her request). So unless a camelion (geergit) type of a lifestyle suits you - Best not to allow anyone to change you!!!

no a man or woman can not be changed by love and affection. what ever is in someone's FITRAT will not and can not be changed. Unless and until like RV said he/she is willing to change him/her self.
I am off the opinion that upbringing has life time affect on any human being and what ever is learned by and taught to an individual at that time can not be changed or erased so easily. Because it's in the roots .

For desi girls, rishta to a man should be like buying a new pet chihuahua. They like to teach us how to walk, sit, run and tell us how much hair can we have and where. Every now and then mix it up and show us how to fetch a frisbee maybe.
Nothing wrong with that... only we desi men already know ALL that and more.
